Legal status

The Transatlantic Institute is an educational charity based in London, UK. It has been established as a charitable trust under the laws of England. The trustees are listed on our People page.

The TI is a registered charity, number 1108682. Registration with the Charity Commission for England & Wales constitutes official recognition of charitable status. The Charity Commission is established by law as the regulator and registrar for charities in England and Wales. The Charity Commission's aim is to provide the best possible regulation of charities in England and Wales in order to increase charities' effectiveness and public confidence and trust.
